Manufacturing Engineer (Magnetic Shielding Project)

We are looking for two Manufacturing Engineers (Magnetic Shielding Project) on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Barcelona, Spain. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism.

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:

• Support the design and manufacturing of the Passive Mitigation System (PMS) and the Active Correction and Compensation Coils (ACCCs).

• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Nuclear Engineering;
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience;
• Experience in the definition and follow-up of manufacturing of large carbon steel components;
• Experience in metrology applied to large components (knowledge of GD&T, basic knowledge of metrology);
• Experience working with RCC-MR for manufacturing and material procurement;
• Experience working under the ITER/F4E quality management system is an asset;
• Capable of working independently as well as in coordinated teams;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
• Knowledge of Spanish is an asset;
• Candidates must be eligible to work in EU.
