As an ATG Business Developer, you will be working together with ATG’s management, engineering staff, and fellow business developers, to support with Engineering Services, Product Development and Consulting Services. You will work on the implementation of the company’s strategy through diverse missions and assignments in one or more of our target domains, in alignment with the other business development stakeholders. Our target domains are: Space, Big science, Nuclear and other High-Tech. The position could be based in our Headquarters in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, or in one of our offices in Barcelona, Spain, or Rome, Italy. All locations could allow hybrid working conditions, depending on location and personal situation. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage).
You will be responsible for achieving business development targets for your target domain, which will include the following activities:
- Provide business development insights through input and feedback to the company strategy;
- Identify business opportunities with existing and new clients in the public and private sector;
- Identify potential partners to strengthen specific offerings or the general portfolio;
- Create and maintain a pipeline of sales leads, ensuring that leads are properly qualified;
- Report on status and progress to the management of the Business Development division and the Chief Commercial Officer;
- Liaise with the engineering staff and engineering management to qualify and develop leads and opportunities together in a multi-disciplinary atmosphere;
- Manage the preparation of offers and proposals to customers, where agreed;
- Support negotiation of resulting contracts;
- Develop and maintain specific focused client relationships (long term);
- Review and propose improvements to the business development process;
- Attend agencies/industry events, including conferences and association events, and contribute information and feedback on upcoming market trends.
