Job description

We are looking for a ​Engineering Analyst​ in support to our client Fusion for Energy for their location in ​Barcelona, Spain​. The successful applicant will be employed by ATG Europe and will be working onsite at our Client’s location.

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). 

 

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:

  • Contribute to engineering analyses;  

  • Verify/follow up on engineering analyses carried out by third parties;  

  • Analyse critical aspects of specific designs with respect to engineering;  

  • Review engineering reports.

Job requirements

Please ensure that your CV clearly explains how you meet these mandatory requirements. If it doesn’t align completely with the essential criteria, it could result in rejection. 

  • BEng/BSc in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Nuclear Engineering; 

  • Experience in the execution and review of engineering analysis; 

  • Experience in the performance and/or review of mechanical, thermal, nuclear, electromagnetic, and/or CFD analyses; 

  • Experience using ANSYS and/or Abaqus for mechanical and/or thermo-mechanical analyses; 

  • Experience in solid modelling and meshing for the performance of general-purpose finite element analyses; 

  • Experience in the post-processing of results of finite element calculations in accordance with relevant codes and standards (ASME, RCC-MR, etc.); 

  • Experience in the application of stress linearization and stress categorization techniques for finite element analyses; 

  • Experience in the drafting and/or review of engineering analysis reports and/or structural integrity reports; 

  • Capable of working independently as well as in coordinated teams;  

  • Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the EU; 

  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
