Job description

We are looking for multiple Data and Process Analytics Support professionals​ on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA) for their location in ​Noordwijk​, The Netherlands, to join their ​Finance, Planning and Controlling department​. The Finance, Planning and Controlling Department is responsible for the definition and implementation of the Agency’s policies in financial, controlling and accounting matters. 

 

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). 

 

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to: 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and analyse business requirements related to both process digitalization reporting and dashboarding needs; 

  • Document detailed process/reporting requirements, including process flows, data sources, metrics, KPIs, and visualization preferences; 

  • Document the as-is process following standard methodologies (e.g. IDEF0), perform analysis on issues/gap with respect to expected behaviour (value stream map, Ishikawa, and others); 

  • Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with organizational reporting standards and guidelines; 

  • Contribute to the definition to the data and report architecture as per internal process (including master data maintenance); 

  • Build requested reports according to specified requirements, including data access rules; 

  • Design user-friendly and visually appealing reports and dashboards tailored to financial performance metrics; 

  • Provide support for the deployed reports and dashboards, including updates and enhancements based on evolving business needs; 

  • Propose and implement effective visual representations of data, ensuring clarity and accuracy in reporting; 

  • Perform rigorous testing to validate the accuracy of the report’s dashboards data models; 

  • Troubleshoot and report any data-related issues to the Business Responsible.

Job requirements

Please ensure that your CV clearly explains how you meet the essential requirements. If it doesn’t align completely with the essential criteria, it could result in rejection. 

  • Masters degree from a recognised Institute of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline; 

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience; 

  • Advanced skills in data and statistical analysis tools and technology, reporting and dashboards design and programming for analysis; 

  • Proficient in data modelling, testing and troubleshooting; 

  • Experience with commercial electronic office tools such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat, electronic mailing, videoconferencing tools; 

  • Experience with collaborative working tools such as SharePoint, Slack and Microsoft polls/surveys tools 

  • Experience with PowerBI; 

  • High level of communication, organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to identify priorities; 

  • Able to work with a high level of confidentiality, discretion and integrity; 

  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU; 

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; 

  • Good knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset.
