Job description

We are looking for an ​Industrial I&C engineer​ in support to our client Fusion for Energy for their location in ​Cadarache, France or Barcelona, Spain​.  

 

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). 

 

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to: 

  • Provide industrial I&C expertise to various projects; 

  • Develop feasible and efficient I&C solutions and architectures; 

  • Generate I&C documentation and studies: specifications, guidelines, proposals; 

  • Review and develop single line and wiring diagrams; 

  • Review P&IDs; 

  • Contribute to the revision of qualification strategies, test plans, test execution and reporting.

Job requirements

Please ensure that your CV clearly explains how you meet these mandatory requirements. If it doesn’t align completely with the essential criteria, it could result in rejection. 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in industrial/electrical/electronics engineering (or similar); 

  • At least 5 year of experience in a relevant field; 

  • Design/implementation/testing of large/distributed control systems in industrial/scientific facilities; 

  • Design of control system architectures: control loops, selection of sensors/actuators, signal conditioning/acquisition, controllers, communications, networks, HMI/SCADA; 

  • Hands-on development of large PLC-based control systems (in particular with Siemens family of products); 

  • Development of technical documentation for large projects: requirements specification, technical reviews and notes, engineering design documentation, test and acceptance documentation, etc; 

  • Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the EU; 

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. 

Advantageous: 

  • Experience in the design of electronics/pneumatic cubicles/cabinets and wiring/cabling.
