QA Support to the IFMIF-EVEDA Project

We are looking for a QA Support to the IFMIF-EVEDA Project on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Rokkasho, Japan. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism.

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:

• Support in the review of all types of QA documentation of Fusion for Energy (F4E) Broader Approach Programme;
• Support in the management of NCRs:
• Assistance in the technical and administrative management of NCRs.
• Support in relation to the management of quality matters during design and manufacturing of Linear IFMIF Prototype Accelerator (LIPAc) and the IFMIF accelerator facility
  • Support during the design and manufacturing of different components in technical and administrative QA matters;
  • If required, support in technical and administrative QA matters during the design and manufacturing of other projects of the Organisation.
• Support in the provision of QC services to the F4E Broader Approach Programme.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering;
• At least 4 years of relevant experience;
• Experience working in mechanical/HVAC/electrical engineering projects with stringent regulatory and QA requirements;
• Experience in evaluating compliance with contractual requirements from a QA point of view;
• Experience in QA management: Experience implementing ISO 9001 requirements/preparing for certification, experience with QA procedures, experience in the performance of audits/supervisions, experience in supplier monitoring, experience in the management of NCRs and associated action plans, etc;
• Knowledge and experience in mechanical construction, including manufacturing processes such as welding, cutting, machining, bending, assembly, welding, blasting, or painting is an asset;
• Knowledge of codes and standards such as EN standards, RCC-MR, RCC-MRx, ASME (I, II, III, V, VIII, IX, B31.3), AWS (D9.1, D10.11, D10.12) is an asset;
• Experience in assembly, verification and validation activities of complex mechanical/HVAC/electrical systems is an asset;
• Experience managing Control Plans and Control Points is an asset;
• Experience witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests is an asset;
• Experience working in Japan is an asset;
• Experience working in a multicultural environment is an asset;
• Good level of English, both written and spoken.
