Job description

We are looking for a ​Sub-Co Manager for Electronic Units​ on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Madrid, Spain.​ The scope of the position is to manage the relationship with the suppliers for the deliverable electronic units, from contract signature (Kick Off) to delivery. This encompasses all topics related to technical performance, planning and conformity of delivered products.  

 

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). 

 

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to: 

  • Lead the relationship with the supplier during the execution of the contract for technical, production, planning, quality matters related to the products to be supplied; 

  • Provide internal clients with regular technical, planning, risk & opportunities status; 

  • Manage supplier activities according to SoW (Statement of Work); 

  • Manage the Supplier action’s review; 

  • Verify supplier progress status; 

  • Manage formal reviews all along the contract (EQSR, PDR, CDR, TRR, TRB, DRB, …); in line with the SoW; 

  • Ensure the exhaustiveness of the deliverables and get approval (by Engineering, Quality and Procurement) for the relevant documentation; 

  • Coordinate the involvement of Engineering (validation of the design, evolution of specifications, deviations, …), Procurement (contractual modifications) or Quality (formal conformance validation), each of these functions remaining the owners of their respective fields of accountability; 

  • Implement all necessary actions for early detection of technical, quality or planning risks; 

  • Contribute to the identification of weak signals in coordination with Engineering, Quality and Procurement departments; 

  • Act to improve the overall interface with the supplier, using lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent experience; 

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience; 

  • Solid technical background in the development of electronic units; 

  • Positive experience in supplier relationship management; 

  • Project management skills; 

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU; 

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
